Monologue of the Miscast

January 23, 2018 haikuidentityperformance

Among mise en scène of timeless urban summer storylines; jaded.

I was a miscast, unfit for the role of a human existing.

And so I perform my lines, and dance numbers called the daily routine.

β€œThe show must go on!” they say, while I ache for the final curtain call.
